Reflection: I guess I agree with this quote because your actions do depend on the success you want in the future. If I don't study or whatever than I can fail a class and when I fail a fail doesn't mean success in life and if I  keep failing than I won't have a nice life.
Example: Let's say I become lazy and not do things. I don't do work and I just go partying. Yes going to a party may seem fun but being homeless and jobless doesn't seem fun right? Your actions depend on your future or well they make your future.
