(Final Part 1 of 2)
 Class/Self Evaluation
 A. What I liked from this class was that I met some wonderful people. I also liked fixing my blog and making it nicer than before. I liked how the class was warm and focused on being a good person. What I didn't like from this class is that it focused more on being a nice person and doing right things. It didn't really much focus on computers.
B. Maybe instead of always focusing on students "choosing the right" we can learn about computers, like the history where they came from. Or we can learn more about how to do stuff like "how to add a table" etc.
3. Did I really do my best? Yes, I did. I actually did my work and focused only on my work and not just talking to my friends. I actually did write 10 sentences every time when I needed too.
4. Am I committed to being a CTR person? Why yes I am. Being a good person can or will give me a good record that can help me go to a good collage. Being a good person will bring me good things in life.

IDP Showcase.
My IDP was good. I was nervous at the start when presenting but I had gotten over it as time moved on.  My IDP topic was about Cirrhosis. My part was to do the treatments and cure, the introduction, and to read the graph. I learned that Cirrhosis is a very bad disease and can kill many. I learned how to avoid getting cirrhosis. I plan to use this as a step to follow my goal of being a doctor.(That's if I don't change my mind.)
"Always do right"
                                                           -Mark Twain
Reflection: What this quote is saying is to chose the right. Do the good things in life and have a rightful life. Following rules can earn you freedom which is something we all want. And something we all don't have.
Example. An example of this is that, let's say you have a big test to do. This test is what determines your grade. Most people would most likely get stressed out. And what is a good way to reveal stress? Usually by having a good time. As kids having a good time can be by playing tag, but as we grow older our "fun" changes. Most adults drink to let their stress flow away. But if you're drinking you can't study for the test can you? You'll likely fail. And so will your future. I'd say that studying for the test and passing it is way better than going off drinking and later on earning a bad future.

"If we do what's right, we have no need to fear"
                                                                        -Evan Stephens
Reflection: What this quote is saying that there is no need to fear something when you're doing everything right. Just like everyone quote we do, it involves doing something right.
Example: If you do homework, there is no need to be scared. Scared of your parents taking your phone or iPod. If you do everything you're supposed to do, you'll be happy. With no fear. Like every quote we do it has to be about someone doing the right. If i get good grades, there's no need for me to get scared that my mom will take my phone. But this quote isn't just talking about overall getting good grades. No, it's also talking about being good to people. Like helping others.

"1. Can people trust me to do what's right?
  2. Am I committed to doing my very best?
 3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
If the answers to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail."
Reflection: What this quote is saying is that if you are a trustworthy person then you can never fail. Being trustworthy you can earn the trust of others, and earning the trust of others, those other people can help you when you're at the edge of failing. They'll be the people to help you and give you a boost. But of course, there can be other ways someone can succeed and be the most malicious person on earth. For example, we have Hitler. A man who treated the Jewish people like if they were nothing. While meanwhile, some people viewed Hitler to be some kind of hero. He treated the Jews horrible, he made them suffer. I'm sure he wasn't treating the Jews the way he wanted to be treated. There's many other reasons how a person succeed without getting a yes to all these questions. So I personally disagree with this quote.

I don't know.

"Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basic of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."
                                                                                                     -John F. Kennedy
Reflection: I do not know what this long quote means. Mainly because it's so long and utter confusing. But from what I understand is that order to reach your highest limit of smartness is for you to be strong and healthy. In order for you to be smart is that you must have a body that can work with it's mind. Not being healthy nor strong can effect or affect your mind.
Example: From my understanding of this quote is that without having a healthy and strong body your mind will not focus. So for example, let's say you do drugs and get into tons of random and useless fights. Your body will get injured and hurt. By being hurt your mind will tend to focus more on the pain. Instead of thinking regular thoughts your mind focuses on the pain. So therefore having a strong and healthy body can help you think faster and help you think smarter without a problem. Well that's from my understanding of this quote.
I don't know.
Savannah, GA.
I selected Savannah as a place I would like to visit. The reason I chose this place is because it is simply gorgeous. I like how it has this nature kind of look. There seems to be a lot of trees and it's something I like to see in places. It seems relaxing. Not only does it seem relaxing but it looks pretty creepy. Savannah has this park that seems to be very eye catching. The name of this park is the Forsyth Park. There also seems to be many historic museums. In a island midway from Savannah there's a water park that seems like a lot of fun. The name of the park is Summer Waves. There's also a cemetery that is known to be very beautiful and is worth seeing. The name of the cemetery is the Bonaventure Cemetery

Why did I select this place? I just loved how it looked like.

"Kindness is the essence of greatness"
                                                -Joseph B. Wirthlin
Reflection: What this quote is saying is that being kind is great. Doing nice things matter. Being kind also means you're great.
Example: An example of being kind is that you can help people doing their math homework. You can help your mom with anything like: helping her wash the dishes, or perhaps helping her babysit your little brother or little sister or maybe your baby cousin. You can also help someone else if they're being bullied. Helping others shows that you are indeed a kind person. And again being kind is what makes you a great person. Another way to be kind is by helping an elderly person with their grocery bags or to cross the street. You don't have to be just nice to humans, you can be nice to animals too. Just remember, being kind is what makes you great.

Thanksgiving Week
A. What did I do in my break? I did nothing and why? Because I wanted to do nothing.
B. Where did I go? No where. Why didn't I go no where? Because I didn't feel like going no where.
C. Did I meet new people? No. And why didn't I meet new people? Because I just don't up to a stranger and say "hi".
D. What movies did I watch? No movies. And why didn't I watch any movies? Because I don't like movies, they're too long.
E. Did I watch any sports? No. I don't like sports.
F. Any CTR experiences? I helped wash the dishes mostly the whole week, and I helped my mom with other things
G. Any books I read? No. I don't read books
H. Homework I did? I had to do a pamphlet for health.
I. Did I do anything else? Watch videos,take showers,eat,sleep.

"If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it."
-Marcus Aurelius
Reflection: This quote is like every other quote we have been given. It repeats the same thing about being "nice" and being "the right person". You shouldn't do bad things. You shouldn't say bad things. That is all there is to this quote.
Example: Just be good, do good things. Say good things. Be a good person. Live a good life. Don't spread rumors about another person because you dislike them, for it is "bad". Don't bully another kid because he/she is a nerd and likes math or doesn't enjoy what other's enjoy. Because it's mean, it's rude, and if you were in their position you wouldn't like that. Just be a good person by not saying anything bad or doing anything bad. Do all of this and you'll get a "great life".

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day
In November of 1621, after the Pilgrims' first corn harvest had been proven successful, Governor William had organized a feast and invited a group of Native Americans. This feast was the very first Thanksgiving and it had been for 3 days. In 1827, New York became one of the very first to celebrate this day

What am I thankful for?
My family
My dog
My life
Having food
Having a house
My education
My friends
Nothing
Nothing
Nothing
Nothing

"Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing"
                                                              -Chick Moorman
Reflection: What this quote is saying is that it doesn't matter if you win or lose all that matters is that you tried your best and didn't cheat. This quote is also saying that you should always be fair.
Example: This quote doesn't have to always relate to sports. It can relate to tests too. Let's say that you want to ace the test but you didn't even study. You see that the kid next to you seems to be doing well so you decide to copy him. So the next day you guys receive your test back and you get an A. It can be good but it just doesn't feel like it huh? You weren't being fair with yourself. It's not right to copy off of people. You can't cheat your way to life. So having that A doesn't feel like anything and it shouldn't because you did something wrong. It shouldn't matter what grade you get, as long as you try and put your effort in it.

"1. Have the courage to say no.
 2. Have the courage to face the truth.
 3. Do the right because it is right.
These are the 3 magic keys to living your life with integrity"
                                                                             -W. Clement Stone
Reflection: What this quote means is that these are ways you can have integrity in your life. You have to be honest and not always lie. You have to accept the truth no matter what. And you do the right because it is the right and nothing should change that.
Example: You should follow these steps so you can be a better person. If someone asks you to go and rob something you shouldn't do that. You should say no and no matter if the guy that told you was big and scary you shouldn't be afraid to tell him no. You must be brave to face the truth. If you cheat on a test and the teacher catches you, you shouldn't try to lie to her. Instead face the truth and tell her that you did cheat and face the consequences. You should do the right because it's the right. If a boy falls down you shouldn't be laughing with others and making fun of him. You should go up to him and help him because that's the right thing to do. It doesn't matter if they tease you and call you "Miss goody goody" or "Mr. nice guy" you do what's right for you.

Veterans Day
Veterans Day is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War 1 to honor the US veterans and victims of all wars.
Veterans Day is in November 11.
The purpose of Veterans Day is to honor the US veterans and the ones who died in the war or any wars.
We can show honor in Veterans Day by….
• Showing Up
• Donate
•Flying a flag correctly
• Helping veteran families

I have no special interests to share about this holiday.

Well I’d like to thank the soldiers for helping us by fighting for our freedom. Without them we wouldn’t be able to live a happy and calm life. They died saving us and many of us appreciate that. Without them fighting probably our world wouldn’t be as safe. I mean it isn’t that safe but at least they made it a bit much safer. Without soldiers we would have so many problems in this world. I appreciate what they have done.

"He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed"
                                                     -Proverbs 13:20
Reflection: What this quote means is that if you hang out with people who actually think before they do something that you'll eventually follow their thinking. But, if you hang out with people who don't even think first before doing something you'll eventually get use to them doing that and you'll follow their steps. The people who you hang out with depend on what your thinking will be.
Example: Ruby was a person who was very smart and knew what she was doing. She had many multiple of friends. Some were smart people who studied and helped others. They were nice and help their parents without any complain. But, Ruby had friends who would also disobey their parents and would go out and party all night. Ruby of course knew that having friends that party all the time was a bad idea so she didn't hang out with them. She hanged out with the friends that used their brains instead of the others who just didn't care.

"The best recreation is to do good"
                                                                                  -William Penn
Reflection: What this quote means is that the best way to re create yourself is by doing something good or by simply being good. You should do good things like studying or helping your parents with work in the house. You should also try to change the way you think. That's if you have a very negative mind. You also shouldn't give attitude to nobody.
Example: Hayle was a little girl who always did bad things. Her parents always tried to help her change but Hayle would not listen. Now a few years later, Hayle has some bad records. Of course she can still change them since she's still small. What Hayle did was that she decided not to do bad things with her friends and she decided to actually study. She eventually did bring her grades up and completely changed herself. From being a very bad child she became a smart nice girl.

"Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it."
                                                              -William Penn
Reflection: No matter what happens no matter what everyone does, you shouldn't do what others do. Unless if it's something good but other wise you shouldn't do bad things. No matter if the whole city is smoking, or killing or whatever else is considered bad to mankind, you shouldn't do it. It doesn't matter if the cool kids are smoking and drinking beer and doing things that is meant for older and much matured people, you shouldn't do it just because you want to fit in or just to be cool.
Example: Bell was a young girl who has  dreamed to be popular. She had began to noticed that other people who were considered cool had began to do awful things. One time Bell's friend had offer her a can of beer and told her to chug it.Bell thought it was the best way to fit in so she did what her friend told her.Of course Bell got what she wanted "to be popular". But of course later on in the future she's in jail for being caught selling drugs. So just because the "cool kids" do it you shouldn't do it to fit in with them.

"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write now what you want most and see it often"
                                                                -Peter Vidmar
Reflection: What this quote means is that you shouldn't always pay attention to what your desires are now. You should just focus on the ones of your future. And that you should write down your goals and accomplish them in the future or accomplish them now. Have faith in yourself and you can see your goals and dreams become reality.
Example: Lets say I want to be a awesome student. I'll have to write and write and solve and solve. I should write down that goal in a sheet of paper and see it become reality. I should also not risk anything for something I want now. Let's say i want a video game or whatever. I shouldn't just get the game and my grades drop. I shouldn't easily sacrifice my grades just for a game. And you shouldn't sacrifice anything for what you want now.

" A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches"
                                               -Proverbs 22:1
Reflection: What the quote is saying is that having a good title is better than being rich because being rich makes you all sad and "money doesn't bring happiness" whatever. I say that money does bring you happiness because, if it doesn't than why are we going all crazy for a piece of paper?
Example: Having a good name is like some "fortune" or some happiness. If you have a bad name you'll have a not so great life. Having a great name or being called "hero" is way better than money. Being called smart or great is better than money. Some say that great riches will not last forever. We will end up having some kind of problem. I really don't agree with this quote because not all people who are rich end up having problems. Some actually manage them and the others are just dumb and don't know how to waste it. Anyhow basically, do good things, get good name, live the most greatest life, etc.

" A good name is better than anything you can achieve in this life"
                                                              -Coach K
Reflection: What Mr. Mike is trying to say here is that you should do good things to earn a good name. Instead of being a dirty old ball, you can aim for bigger things and become a wrecking ball. Do good things and become a greater person than ever.
Example: Donald was a bad boy. he did bad things like spray paint around the school and bullied others. Donald was a really smart person but didn't show his smartness. He kept it all inside. Everyone called Donald, "Donald the Dummy". In his later years, Donald had realized how dumb and bad he had been so he decided to change. Donald had stopped hanging out with his "bad" friends and had began to study. Donald had began to get good grades, and had also said sorry to the ones he hurt. Now, Donald is a person who is going to law school, he had planned out his future. Thankfully he had graduated from high school and got accept to collage. Donald's new nickname is.. " Donald The Smart One"

"If your so called friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow."
                                     - Thomas S. Monson.
Reflection: I agree with what Thomas was saying because it's true that you shouldn't do bad things and you should focus on your life and do good things that will bring good luck to you in the future. Be your own person and protect yourself from things that can harm you. Be your own light don't follow what bad people do and live your life being successful.
Example: An example of this is that let's say your friends are smoking and doing drugs etc. YOU shouldn't do that and you should focus on education and getting money by working. You should focus on yourself and nobody else. You should study and be a great person and be a role model for someone. So keep studying and don't do drugs or anything that can and will ruin your chances of being a successful person.
Another example: Let's say you need to study for a test what you should do is actually study. Don't go with your friends to the club or whatever. You should stay and study.
