"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse"

Reflection: What I think this quote is saying is that money doesn't matter but what matters is in your heart. By doing good things you'll feel great. If you have money you'll feel greed and be blind by it. What matters is what's inside.

"You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible"
                                                                     - Ezra T. Benson
Reflection: What this quote is saying that if you do something bad you won't feel happy about yourself, that deep down inside you'll feel regret or guilt. You should do good things so you can feel better about yourself.
Example: You should be nice so you can feel great and not fighting because that doesn't really make you feel right.

"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad I feel bad."
                                     - Abraham Lincoln
Reflection: What Lincoln here is saying is that if you want to feel good, feel wonderful about yourself, you should do good things. If you want to feel guilt then do something bad. Your actions will make you feel a certain way.

"The key to freedom is obedience. The more obedient we are, the more freedom we have."
                                                    -Boyd K. Packer
It really isn't. We all have our own definition of what's freedom and what's not. Well then, the quote is saying that being "obedient" gets you "freedom". By following the rules you'll get more freedom so you won't end up in jail. Jail mostly takes your freedom away. But like I said before we all have different views of freedom. What if someone's freedom is leaving the city and traveling in the sea? In the sea there isn't any rules. Not having any rules at all can be someone's freedom. If we talk about back in the past, what about the slaves? They were obedient and yet did they get the freedom they wanted? They followed their "master" but yet did they have a happy life? Did they gain "freedom"? I'm sure they didn't.

"Obedience is the great test of life"
                                          -Thomas S. Monson
Reflection: I really don't know what to say about this quote. After all we all have our different opinions of what is "the great test of life". For example I can say that "Education is the great test of life" or "My family is the great test of life". Well, the quote is saying that doing "the right" and following the rules is great. If you follow the rules you'll have a better life and might even live longer. Being obedient means that you shouldn't always be drinking or smoking.

911 Memorials

9/11 was an awful time for America. It was a very tragic day for everyone, and it was a day where many people faced evilness. Over 300 people ended up dying including 19 hijackers. I never really remembered what happen that day I was just 3 months old. I ended up learning about 9/11 when I had entered 4th grade. At first i never understood what was happening but as i started growing up I later found out what it really meant.
Reflection: Well I feel really sad watching videos I just think that it's very awful.

"Education is the latch key to success in life."
                                                   - Gordon B. Hinckley
Reflection: I believe that education is the key to success because if we don't study we won't get any jobs. Without jobs, we won't get money. Without, money we won't get food or too be able to pay the bills. Without paying the bills, we won't get water and the electricity that we need. Without money, we can't pay the rent of the house. Without a house, we'll live in the streets which will led to not taking showers, getting germs and getting sick, and eventually dying. Getting an education is important because if we have a job that offers lots of money, we can get what we want, and live a much more happier life. Education gives us the opportunity to get a job.
