Memorial Day

Memorial Day also known as an American Holiday, is observed on the last day of May. This day is the day we honor our great men and women who died while serving in the U.S military. The year it became a holiday was 1971.

Memorial Day is on the last Monday of every May, so it would be May 30.

We can show our honor by respecting and being thankful to those who risk our lives for us. We can go to speeches where they recognize the soldiers. In some places around the world they host parades. Some people even have parties or host barbecues.

What I found interesting about Memorial Day is that it unofficially marks the start of summer.

We might not do anything but maybe we will have a barbecue.

Well I feel that this holiday is a great holiday. I’m glad that the soldiers have some special  holiday. A special holiday that honors them. I’m glad for all that they do for us. They risk their lives for other people. I’d say that joining the army takes guts. And I am very thankful for all that they do.  

                  

Eight Great Reasons To Tell The Truth

Well I think that this whole quote is true. Being very honest is important but remember people do have feelings. Some people may not get offended by what you tell them about their outfit. There’s of course other people who would argue about you and your opinions. Though I would still tell the truth whether a person likes it or not. I would want people to earn my trust. I would want others to learn that telling lies is bad.

Yoga Therapist

A yoga therapist is a person who would use yoga to help people relax or help people with any physical and emotional issues or any specific health problem.

Yoga therapist earn about $36,900-$66,530 dollars a year.

The education needed to become a yoga therapist is at least studying anatomy and physiology in both health and various disease states.

The demand for a yoga therapist is unknown as the job is barely new.

Reflection: I don’t think I would want to become one due to the job being new and all.

This quote is correct. When you do things right you will succeed. When you do things wrong, you’ll fail. If the teacher tells you to write an essay, you better do it in order to pass her class and succeed. Now if you don’t do it, then your grade will drop and you won’t pass her class. Now I think what he means by correct goals is by goals that are good. Such as “ having good grades” or “learning how to play the piano”. Incorrect goals would be something like: “ killing ____” or “ stealing ____”s money”. If you do get correct and right goals then you should push your limits in order to achieve them.

Wellness Specialist

Wellness Specialists are people who train and support people on any of their health goals. These people usually work in schools, local governments, companies and other organizations. Their main goal is to educate people on their health. To improve daily choices, prevent illnesses or any local resources. These people usually speak a lot. As they would hold seminars, etc.

The amount of money they earn is about $49,480 dollars a year. They earn $15.77 dollars every hour.

To become a wellness specialist you must have a degree related to nursing, fitness or sports medicine. Other than that, there’s no specific requirements needed for this job.

The demand for this job is at 37%.

Reflection: I wouldn’t want to be one. The reason why is because these specialists tend to talk a lot to the public. I really don’t like to talking to the public as I feel I would mess up a lot.

Reflection: What Dennis said is good. Good values are indeed a good thing for us to have. A good value is like choosing the right. Or being loyal to somebody. Also serving others is a good value. Basically by doing good things you are doing another good value. Being a good person is a very important thing. More people will come to you for advice. You would be a good idol. Some examples of having a good value is helping others. You can help homeless people by giving them at least one dollar or you can help find a lost dog. You can also be a good listener and listen to your friend's troubles. Being open minded is another example. To not judge others for who they are, and just accept them for being them.

Veterinarian

A veterinarian is a person who works on the health of animals. They diagnose, treat and research medical conditions of the animal.

The median salary they get is $88,490 a year.

The education needed for this job is at least a Doctoral or Professional Degree.

The demand for this job is at 9%, I find it very low from other jobs.

Reflection: Yes, I think I would like to become a veterinarian because I really love animals. They can be our companions and can make us the happiest person alive. And in return we should help them back.

This quote is true. Whenever you do something that is good, it makes you feel like a better person. You will feel mighty. You will respect yourself and the decisions you made. You will show others how proud of a person you are. Yes, if you find something you might receive an award. It may be money but the best reward between money and your self esteem, your self esteem will win. Why? Because money comes and goes but the person you are and the way you feel about yourself always stay.

Sports Medicine

Sports medicine works on helping people to improve their athletic performance, recover from injury and prevent future injuries.
The amount of money sports medicine receive is $161,205 each year.
To become a sports medicine physician requires obtaining a Bachelor's Degree and a M.D.
The demand for this job is at 18%.
I would like to be one. I would like to help people, so if this job helps people improve on something then of course I want to become one.

These four success tips are very handy. Many people can learn from these tips. For example, we can work hard for things we like to do. We should carry on our passions and not let anyone bring us down. If we can succeed in our passions we can have fun. And while we have fun, we also make money. We should also help the community. Or not just our community but our friends. Then when we are in trouble, they can help us back. These things that Phillip said are very important, and  very helpful.

World Records

1. The world record is the most beer steins carried over 40 meters. The person who broke this record was Anita Schwarz who is 19. The day it was set was on November 9, 2008.

2.  The world record is the most t-shirts worn at once. The man who broke this record was Krunoslav Budiseli. He had worn 238 t-shirts. The record was set on May 22, 2010.

3. The world record is the oldest cat to ever live. The world record holder is none other than Scooter who has lived a total of 30 years. This cat was born in March 26, 1986.

The world record that was the most coolest for me was the tightest frying pan roll. It is amazing how some humans are capable of tightening a frying pan. I wouldn’t want to break this world record. I feel that I would just end up breaking a bone.

What Theodore said is true. Doing the right thing will always be the best thing to do. It will make you feel proud of yourself. It will make you stand out. You will shine brightly. For example, let’s say you’re walking and you see a women struggle with her kids and the bags she is holding. Instead of walking away and carrying on with your daily duties, you can help the lady out. You did the best decision out there, By helping this lady she isn’t struggling and can keep her kids safe. 

Video Game Designer

A video game designer is a person who designs and creates video games.These people earn about $96,260 every year, which is quite a lot. To become a video game designer you must be good at computer science. The education needed varies on the employer. Usually all you need is a bachelor’s degree. The demand for this career is 23%.I would not like to become a video game designer because I already know what to become in the future.

While this quote may be true in some parts, it’s also false in some parts. It’s true that when you do something and you never gain anything to be proud off. But many people exist in this world, including cruel malicious people. While some people may do awful things like: killing and robbing, they may be proud of what they do. They have killed the one they might of hated. They have gotten over millions of dollars. Although they might feel guilt and and begin to regret the things they did, I’m sure they have gained something. We all are different so we all feel different when we do any evil actions.  We do gain things when we do something bad. Whether it would be negative or magically good consequences.

Summer Plans

I can't wait for summer vacation. I might go to Disneyland again. Disneyland is a very fun place for me, I feel very happy and excited to be there. I am amazed by the beautiful old buildings. I am amazed by the stunning colors. Well, I really do hope we go. We need a new car in order to go. I really hope we get the car, the cars that we have right now don't work. They can turn off at any moment, so I feel very unsafe in the car. My other plan for summer vacation is to maybe go to Universal Studios. I've gone so many times, I just haven't been to the new Harry Potter area. If we do get our new car, I do hope we go to the beach. I haven't been to the beach in such a long time. But Disneyland is what excites me the most. I just have so much fun goofing off with my brother Aaron. Last year when I went, We took my cousins along. So I went with them and we went on rides that I have never been on. My other summer plans are to not gain weight. I want to stay the weight that I am now. I have also wanted to continue playing the guitar. I never play it and it's just lying around in the empty room. I wanted to play piano but I couldn't find any classes. I was gonna ask my friend to teach me, since she plays it but I decided not to. I also wanted to get bangs, though I'll have to straighten them when I go out. I have also wanted to improve my writing skills. Although my friends say I write very nice and "deep" poems, I always disagree with them. I feel that my poems can sound a bit too cheesy at times. When we presented in the IDP, the lady that came in liked my poem, so did my English teacher. So that had given me bits of hope. I don't think I have any other summer plans. I was going to have a 15 but I decided to cancel it. I also might go and volunteer because my mom doesn't want me to be all lazy at home. I might go volunteer at Miles or At Salt Lake Park. Who knows? I haven't decided on which one yet.

This is such a good quote. To be able to have the courage to stand up when you need to. This quote can be used when somebody does a bad thing. Instead of running away, or blaming it on someone else. You should just stand up. Stand up ashamed maybe, but at least you’re doing what’s right. Your parents would think that although you did something bad, they’re proud of how you didn't lie to them.

Speech Language Pathologist

Speech pathologists are people who diagnose, treat, and help prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients.

Reflection: A speech pathologist seems like a great job, I just feel that they make pretty low money on this job. I feel that they should be earning way more money. I would become one because this seems like such a great job.

This is a very nice quote. To be able to keep your ‘word of honor’ is wonderful. I believe that ‘word of honor’ means promise. We have done another same quote like this. Where we must keep our promises. Not keeping our promises makes us a bad and not a loyal person. Karl is showing us that he is a man who can keep promises. Even if it means for him to be stuck in a circle for the rest of his life. That’s a good man, and us people should learn from this man.

Medical Scientist

Medical scientists conduct research aimed at improving overall human health. They usually use clinical trials and other methods to find their findings.

In order to become a medical scientist you must have a doctoral or professional degree.

Reflection: This seems like such a fun job. It would be something i would do. These people are finding new and improved ways to save us humans from terrible diseases.
